itouch ipod chargers??

I have several chargers for my old 20g iPod. I have a new 16g iTouch..which I really like. Can I use the wall outlet and car lighter chargers I bought for my iPod on my iTouch as well? Many thanks in advance.

I'm able to use mine with my first gen touch, but my husband just bought a 2nd gen and they don't work with the 2nd gens.
