OMG will it just sync music only already!!

OMG this has got to be the most annoying thing... and it needs to be fixed.

I just wanna add music to my ipod touch... not do a complete back up of all me apps... then add the music. If I wanna make a back up at some point I will... but I dont wanna keep doing this everytime I wanna add a song... its ridiculous!!

I find the backups extremely necessary, seeing as I have restores my iPod twice now

I would recommend just letting it backup... Are you in a hurry or something when you plug it in?

And are you fully updated with the firmware? The latest update is much quicker with updates than the older ones. That might help you.

When it's backing up, in iTunes, just click the little x to the right of the backup progress indicator. That should cancel the backup and proceed with the sync.

It does a backup everytime??? That sounds funky (not technically elegant - unlike Apple).
