View Full Version : touch comes up as a camera on my pc?

my 2nd gen ipod touch keeps coming up as a camera everytime I plug it in my pc. It works fine in itunes and everything, but why does it say its a camera when I plug it in and I have to exit out of all the popups? It starts some camera wizard thing. How can I stop this? thanks guys!

It must have a similar digital signature to a PC USB webcam or something.
Not sure how you'd stop it.
If it's working OK in iTunes, I'd just learn to live with it.

Just go into My Computer and right click it and look for autorun preferences and make sure it does nothing when you plug it in... I had this problem as well and finally decided to let it import that damn pictures, but I never use them, so I just turned it off altogether.

The reason it does this is so you can import any saved screenshots you've taken.

If you've taken screenshots, this will happen.
If you're touch is JB'n, SSH & delete the images. Problem solve.
