Skyhook respond time?

My iPod Touch couldn't determine my location, so I went to Skyhook's website and gave them my address and MAC Address, and also my email. I received a confirmation email that said my address would be submitted soon. How long until my iPod will be able to determine my location?

I think your iPod triangulates your location using other WIFI hotspots in the location. Like mine knows where I am if I click locate me at Starbucks but it doesn't work at my house.

Well then your question is irrelevant to the iPod Touch. My point was (sorry I made this unclear) that your iPod only is able to determine your location if your at a hotspot like Starbucks or Panera. IIRC, when the original iPhone came out, Google technicians drove the country and registered hotspots into the Google Maps database so Ipods and Iphones would be able to locate where you were using select public hotspots.
