wi-fi set up help

can anyone point me in the direction of some step by step instructions for setting up wi-fi on a 2nd gen touch. i have a home wireless set up but am unable to connect via my touch even though i have 3 bars showing on the touch's display. where have I gone wrong ? any help much appreciated

Do you have security enabled on your router? Also, just try restarting your ipod. Just turn it off using the power button and then start it up again. It worked for me when I had disabled my wifi on the ipod but then it wouldn't connect. A restart helped.
