I have a 2g iPhone (1.1.4) and my girlfriend has just bought a 3g iPhone (2.1) and we both share a Mac running iTunes 8.
I believe that my phone on 1.1.4 won't work properly with iTunes 8, whereas the 3g 2.1 needs iTunes 8.
Is there any way I can use both phones on our Mac without having to upgrade my 2g phone to 2.1 - I really don't want 2.1 or its features because it's so laggy compared to 1.1.4
Would appreciate any help
