Kensington charger GOOD for IPHONE????

hey...

i recently bought an iphone and used the kensington portable battery charger for it.. after a few minutes i noticed the iphone screen went blurry with horizontal lines across it.. the restoring wont work and i sent it to apple for servicing and unfortunately even thy couldnt figure out the problem.. ATLAST i recieved a BRAND NEW iphone from them....

now i am scared to plug in the kensington charger again in the NEW PHONE... lol .. i dunt want the phone to go blurry again!!!!

any suggesstions
IF - it was the charger that was the root cause of the problem??
OR - was it the iphone device HARDWARE??

It could have just been a fluke, but unless that Kensington charger is certified with the "made for iphone" badge or whatever, then I wouldn't use it. Of course, if you are curious you could always go for it, since your new iphone is under a 1 year warranty as well.
