I have an iPod touch with a good number of bookmarks. I was just given a used iPhone and have activated it successfully and configured it.

Is there a way for me to copy my touch bookmarks to my iPhone?

For instance is there a folder in iTunes where the touch has been backed up and I can find these bookmarks, and then upload them into the iPhone during it's next sync?

Thanks for any info.

Tim

I think what you have to do is go into itunes in your iphone section, and configure it to sync bookmarks with Safari. You can also do it to internet explorer I believe. I'm not sure if the sync goes both ways, it may only go from the browser to your phone. If that's the case you're kind of SOL.

My advice in that case would be to open each site on the touch, send a link through email and open it in Safari, then save it. Then you can can sync to your iphone. It sounds like you have a lot of bookmarks though, so maybe this solution won't work for you.

but the email/links idea was good. I appreciate the alternative.

Thanks,
