Turn your ipod off by holding the home and top button simultaneously till the slider to turn off the ipod shows up... then turn it back on... and it should connect! This is done after you connected to a wifi signal. Hope that made sense!

is your live box even WIFI enabled? You have no clue what youre doing, i suggest returning the product, and get something that doesnt contain tools you dont know how to use like wifi. Seriously return it....

Do you have a computer that is successfully connected wirelessly? It is possible that your wireless network is not setup correctly. If computers can't connect either, it seems that the problem is the network. You can also try turning off any wireless security temporarily and try connecting then. It is possible your encryption is setup in a way that the Touch can't use.
Also, try taking the iPod Touch to some place that has free wireless and try connecting there. If it won't connect to other networks, it seems that the problem is possibly in the Touch itself.
Let us know how these tests go. Hopefully these help narrow down the possible errors.

Was able to finally connect to internet. Though the ipod detected the router, when I tried Safari, it would say not connected. I went into the setup for the router and entered the ipods specific mac address in the "allow" list for the router. Now it works. While in the router setup, make sure that your routers IP range has room for the new device in case it was previously set to a limited number of addresses.

Touch, you don't have to be such a ***hole about it. He's obviously new to the Touch, just give him SOME help instead of being a pompous ###. Seriously, this is why people hate Apple users.. because of people like you who are too callous and insensitive to help out a newbie.
Don't be a ####ing troll about it, just don't post if you can't provide helpful information.
Gezc, you might want to try going to other wireless hotspots to see if the Touch antenna isn't borked. If it works, then it might be your Livebox.. I suggest upgrading your router.

All I have to say is, haha, ha, haha, hahaha, ha. Seriously, get off the high horse bro. The OP couldve googled, searched here, and gotten every answer for his generic desrciption question, please. Seriously, everyone hates Apple users because of people like me. Thats really a great thing to be concerned about considering the world is about to go bankrupt and there's a major countries election coming soon. So you, go continue being obsessed with being message board hall monitor and the gate keeper to those on the side of the fence who hate apple users. Plus you're sucha tool that you replied to his qurestion when he already got the answer, you're some genius. Be well, enjoy your sunday football, and oh yeah, its a meesage board, get over it bro
