I am planning on getting a new headunit for my car but i don't know which one to get.

I want one with aux input so i can hook up my ipod to it, but also i want it to be sub compatible because im probably going to put in two 12's. Also i don't wan't it to be riduclously expensive either.

Thanks in advance.

I've got the Alpine CDM-9803R, which works with aux-in (You just need to buy a little connecting cable called KCM-122B) and works with subs. Plus Alpine are a really good make of car stereo. I guess in america you'd probably be looking at $150 for one.

got mine from www.thezeb.com for 180 shipped. great unit, i have one 10" in the trunk w/ 300w and then my headunit is powering my components and 6x9s and it sounds great. My unit is a panasonic CQ-DFX572U. Heres a few pics.

For what it's worth, I'm looking at several Aiwa cd players. Most of them have an aux in. The CDC-X504MP is $140 at Best Buy, with free installation this week. I like this one because it has a aux in AND plays MP3 CD's.

I got a really cheap ($100) awia with an aux-in, it was ok, except that the cd player skips like crazy.
