Personally I dont know how anyone hear can help you decide if any product is right for you, especially since you give us nothing about yourself and digital life style and habits. I dont know if i can answer if you could make the most of them, but since i own both a Touch and iPhone I can say theyre the best products and I myself use either of them almost every minute of my day

I'm sorry, you are right. I did think those two brothers are very much alike.
I don't like to use it for games,
I like to write, to see films, to listen music, to use it for surfing in Internet to send email. I'd like to use it to telephone around the world too but I don't know I could do it. I like to use it with VoipStunt and wireless. I am an euopean guy and I don't know if I will telephone around the world. I'd like to use it during and at airports. I like to get currency converter, etc. etc
I hope these writings could help. ;)
thanks

Honestly, get the touch then. You can in the future is VOIP, to make call with the new touch, and since your big on listening to tunes, and surfing the web the touch is the perfect electronic friend to buy! You can't do much writing on either, simple note taking, but I myself am i writer and it fits my basic needs. Plus the size, the touch is just so thin, it kind of amazes you when first touching it. I say get the touch it seems fittings, since calling doesnt seem to be high on your chart, and I am sure in europe you can find just as a good a phone for less just to make calls! Hope this helps

I'd say go with the touch. after the initial puchase you can pick and choose if you want to spend more money, unlike with the iphone where you have that ridiculous monthly charge.

I'd rather wait until the Touch gains more memory.
For 400$ it surely needs more beefing up.
I'd get the touch over the iPhone.
You can definitely get better deals other than an iPhone. HTC, Nokia, Samsung, etc. have better phones than iPhone.
