Hey! got the ipod touch 2g on launch day. I have a few pics of my girlfriend on mine, her school pics, and i have a pass code on my ipod, when it locks. However my siblings/friends/fam have been able to get in no matter what the pass code is....because SOMEONE knows what it is.
Long story short...is there a way to passcode-lock Pictures? or even better...a specific album? idk how, but i'd like to lock that album so others cant get in and you know...make fun or whatever. it bugs me. I just would rather people not be albe to snoop through photos...and not have to lock the ipod each time...thanks

You cannot do this. The pass code is designed to stop people from using your iPod when it is woken up from sleep mode or when it is turned on. You cannot lock specific files (even if they are pictures) with a new/different/the same pass code. The only thing that you can do is change your pass code. Pick a new one using random numbers that don't have anything to do with you. In other words, don't pick numbers from your cellphone, e-mail account, drivers license, bank account, pin number, etc. Just pick four random numbers that mean absolutely nothing to you. Also don't pick numbers that are in sequence or are backwards. So don't pick 1234 or 4321. Also don't pick 1357 or 7531 as that is the same thing just consisting of odd numbers (the same can be said for 2468 and 8642).
So pick a new pass code and remember it. That will prevent them from even using your iPod touch.

On the App store theres a few apps floating around out there that let you store pictures with the ability to lock folders with a passcode but after reading the user reviews, it seems complicated... something about having to upload each picture individually and they're given a URL or something. Get on the App Store and research it. I'm sure eventually it'll be possible to lock certain folders, I think its already possible on jailbroken iPod touches but I don't wanna do that to mine!

Nice, siblings/family/friends you have that take your stuff without you knowing and look through them. They sound like awesome people!
