I got an iPod touch about two month ago. I wanted to egt a case and saw iLounge's review of the DLO VideoShell crystal case. In Australia cases are more expensive obviosly, and I found the videoshell for forty bucks. I got it, but with in a week the back of my touch was all scratched up from the case and the case itself was loose. There goes 40 bucks.

An aussie mac site were selling cases from DLO that their sponsor (if thats the rigth word for it) were giving them, for them to make money. I got a DLO Multiclip for 9 bucks. Its good, for 9 bucks. But now I realize I hate silicon, as it gets all dusty and ugly (the screen protector that came with it is nice, finally something decent!)

Now I'm hunting, for my third and final time, for an iPod touch case. I'm looking for a plastic one, such as the Incase slider, or something that doesn't catch dust, and isn't silicon or crystal, and it can't be bulky.

The Incase costs 45 dollars, and that's just too steep now for a plastic case with no included protector. I bought my 16GB touch for 300 (thats 100 less then RRP here in Australia before the 2g), and now the savings I made are gone from case hunting :( 50 dollars done, no good cases.

Can anyone reccomend a good plastic case, or a case such as a rubber case thats not bulky, and provides decent protection?

Thanks guys,

mikey

here is advice. do not buy any DLO or Macally product. they make ipod so scratches. I am a victim. I bought macally for new ipod touch 2G. it was silicon case which is consist of 3 pairs (black, white, transparent). but I just put it, played for few minutes, took it out. on the metal back, there were lots of small scratches. I really hate their product. well, it was only about $20.

Heh thanks for the tip. Thats eyt another brand to stay away from xD

I'm interested in the TuffWrap by XtremeMac, it's silicon but doesn't look to egt dirty much. i found it for 30 RRP Aus, only ten more then the US price. But the reseller's list of where they sell their products isn't evry accurate, none have any in stock. I emailed the reseller in hopes of finding the case. It looks good xD better then DLO, anyway.

TuffWrap is a nice case, but tears easily, so be careful with it.
