I got a postcard the other day regarding a car docking kit for the iPod called an iSimple. I went to the website on the card and it sounds pretty cool, but before I throw down 150+ dollars on one, I want to see what other users think. Any opinions? Thanks...

I just got it today at Best Buy, and installed it myself. It took about an hour to do so. About 10min to yank it out. I have a GMC Yukon 2005. It works like advertised. I had full XM functionality, and my In-Deck CD changer worked as well...BUT I hated the fact that the navigation with the knobs was not intuitive at all. It's cumbersome and not very easy to use. And you also lose the ability to use the iPod controls itself.

That is correct it block you out of the ipod, we use the usa specs full iod text on radio display
and full controls from radio and steering wheel controls you can also control it from the ipod there is a dip switch on the interface for that

I have one that I'm about to get installed. It says on crutchfield "If you prefer, you can use the iPod's Click Wheel instead of the radio buttons." so I'm not sure if that information is incorrect or if the previous posters are incorrect.

IN that case you control the ipod with the click wheel, and the radio don't do Anything for that you can buy a AUX interfce for about $65.00
