View Full Version : fm radio for ipod will it work on the new touch?

G'day , I use this on my current 32 gig video ipod and it lets me listen to fm radio stations on the ipod, but i cant find out if it will work on the new touch, ? any ideas if theres going to be any updates for this or for it to work on the touch?

I doubt it will work since it didnt work on the first gen of ipod touchs.

This should work with any iPod as it's just using the iPod for power.
But failing that there are apps that offer Radio playback, assuming that the radio station you want offers the appropriate streaming feed.

The one we use for my wife's 2nd Gen Nano does not work on my 1st gen iPod Touch. It does give me external volume controls, but no other controls and no radio. Streaming works find but also you need to be in a WiFi hotspot. It works fine at the office (or at home, but there I just turn on the stereo), but isn't useful for radio if you out and about.
