2G iPod Touch Cases?

So I just ordered myself a 32 Gig iPod Touch to replace my 5G iPod, and I was wondering if anyone knows of cases for the new Touches?

I'm in Japan and must wait a couple of weeks before I get my Touch (they staggered the release dates) and I'd like to order a case before it shows up.

Incase just came out with some new cases for the second gen ipod touch. They say they will be out in september. I use the incase slider case for my first gen ipod touch so i would definetely recommend. I guess it woud be pretty much the same case except for the openings for the volum controls and slightly slimmer.

I hope that Power Support gets an updated "Air Jacket" out soon. I emailed them but haven't heard back yet. I really like the Air Jacket on my 1st gen with one exception - the dock connector plug is separate and easily losable. Otherwise, though, it's fantastic. Provides see-through hard shell back/side protection and front screen protection via clear or anti-glare static-cling overlay, while only adding 0.7mm thickness. Great stuff. Just need it for the 2G.

Can I use an iphone 3g case for the new touch? I've seen at least one place selling cases that claim to fit both. Maybe it's just the leather ones that will fit since they do not have to be as snug?

So i guess the answer is that the iphone 3g is much thicker than the touch 2g. I found the official documentation at the Apple site with all of the dimensions (whose address the board is not allowing me to post because I am a new user, whatever, just google it).

it is not fit because height is 0.02 inch bigger than new one.

Go the best buy, Belkin has already released a soft silicone case case, has some red design on the back but nothing tacky. I have the 32 gb 2g also fits perfectly. They had other cases, but they were big and bulky, kinda defeats the purpose of the touch in my mind, it runs 24.99. Hope this helps

Does anyone know about this feature of the ezSkin case? It says on their web site " ... a iPod Touch static screen protector"

What exactly is this screen protector? Is it the clear plastic that I've seen on the 4G case? Its a hard piece of plastic. I would think that would be a problem on the touch. Or is it a mylar-type stick on film material?

Do they have that on the 1G Touch. Any know about how well it works and does it detract from the use of all the buttons on the Touch?
