Help! Ipod touch + Universal Dock

Hello, I have an Ipod touch (2g) and I just bought an apple universal dock with it. Everything is perfect and the remote works fine but I have one major question.

With the Ipod docked and the dock connected to my computer with the usb cable can I make the music come out of my computer speakers rather than the speakers on the touch? Thanks.

It would be nice to sit at the back of my room and use the remote to change tracks on the Ipod and then for that to come out of my nice comp speakers instead of the touch.

if you wanna do that you can just iTunes on your computer for music and use the remote app from your iPod touch.
