I've had the Yelp app on my iPod touch for a while and it's worked fine and accepted two updates nicely.
After upgrading to the 2.1 firmware it continued to work fine. Now a new update (I THINK it was a new one) was available and I asked to download it. All seemed fine until I sync'd the touch. Then I received a message that basically said, "the application was not installed because it is not compatible with this ipod". I tried syncing several times more with the same result.
EDIT: Just went on to the iTunes app store and Yelp now says iPhone compatible. Says nothing about the touch. Did this CHANGE, or was I just LUCKY running it on the touch for awhile?
I only have one thought about a possible conflict. I sync my Gen 1 iPhone on this same copy of iTunes 8.0.
Any thoughts?
Anyone else having this problem, or similar?
Thanks,
Tim
