I ordered the new ipod Touch from Apple and it was mailed directly to me from Kunshan, China --> Shanghai, China --> it's in AK, USA right now.

If you are worried about it coming from China, don't be, this is completely normal.

Nah, these things are all made by Steve in his garage (really, what do you think Woz is doing these days?). He fakes the shipping out of China for tax purposes.
