Hey everyone
So i attempted to post this topic 2wice now over at the apple forums, with each try i was denied. Apple friggin removed them! For polling issues. So i'm going to try my luck here, as I think this topic is very useful.
To all those experiencing common defects of their phones please take a look at the build week of your phone, and list what problems (if any) you are experiencing. To find the build week take a look at your serial number and the 4th and 5th numbers represent the week. for example: xxx??xxxxxx (question marks represent build week)
I've had problems with my iphone(s) since day 1, ive gone in to the corte madera store and the bay street store here in the bay area. Each time i've gone in (total of 8 exchanges) every phone has had either Dust particles, light leaks, or dead pixels. My last attempt was calling apple up and seeing if i could get an iphone from a different build week... but that didn't work out.
What i hope to gain from this thread is to see with later, or even earlier builds are still experieince these 3 main problems.
My phone is in week 30 and has Light leaks and a few dust particles.
