Question about my 1st Gen Touch and Genius

I have 100 GBs of songs on my PC and a 32GB 1st gen Touch.
If I create a Ganius playlist from my iTunes library, odds are that some of the songs are NOT going to be loaded in my Touch.
If I load the playlist into my touch, would iTunes sync the missing songs along with the playlist, or will I get a shorter playlist with only the songs I have already loaded on my touch?
