hi all, new to the forum, thinking about geting a iphone, just a few questions before i buy one..

first of all, is it possible to use an ipod classic and iphone on the same itunes?
i own a 160gb classic at the moment, so what do i do if i get an iphone? will the 2 of them work on the same itunes? also, i have 105gb worth of music on my itunes, obiously i wont fit all of that onto a 16gb iphone so is it possible to pick what albums go onto the iphone? i have my classic set up to synch with itunes at the moment, but ive got plenty of space, but how do i go about it for the iphone?

second, does the ipod feature on the iphone suffer from the same buffer problem that the new model of classics does that causes random pauses and gaps during playback?

this is so annoying and it happens to both my 160gb and my girlfriends 80gb.

third, is it possible to surf the net, text and use the other features while listening to music on the iphone? does it cause any lag or any problems at all?

thanks for your help, keep up the good work

1) yea you can use both, you can set it to only sync songs with the boxes checked, so you can just uncheck everything then go through and check what you want to have on your phone

2) im not sure what you mean, but my iphone plays just fine

3) yes you can do other things while you play music, safari does have a tendency to crash during music and surfing, but update 2.1 might help that out a bit. the crashing is more of a safari thing, as it crashes on its own on occasion as well
