hello, im new to all this and im sure this is probably the 100th thread but I just got a unlocked iphone, the original. I have a wireless router for my laptop and its working fine. its through netgear and everytime i try to connect it says "cannot connect to netwok" OR it will say "incorrect password" when I always enter the same, correct password.
I told a friend of mine that the previous phone i had, the one whose sim card is now in my iphone, didnt have internet access on my plan, and he said that doesnt matter, if i have wifi in my house or wherever im at, it should pick it up. And it doesnt. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Another thing is that it seems to automatically connect to this other account that must be around my apartment(i guess they dont have password protection) and it will have a check mark by that account name as if to indicate that its connected, and i still cant connect to anything. :confused:
