System restore error

I have an error on my iPod screen that just says to system restore. Everytime I do it just flicks back to the same screen.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Just to be clear, you're performing a Restore operation on the iPod using iTunes, yes? You're not doing anything with Windows' Restore Points or the like, right? You're not just restting the iPod, but actually connecting it to iTunes and clicking the Restore button in the iPod's sync settings page....

Yeah, I'm using iTunes to system restore.

Huh...no error messages or anything? Could be any number of things (bad cable, bad net connection, bad iPod, etc.) If it's still warranteed, time to bug Apple ;-) if not, other Nano users may come along with specific stuff to try. (Things like: disconnect all other USB devices and try again, or try using a different USB port)
