I know belkin has an older one that works but asks you about airplane mode, and I see Kensington has the LiquidAux that is that, but cost $80 because it has a remote. Any other that are really iphone compatible that doesn't cost so much?
Thanks,

I've yet to see one that's 100% iPhone compatible.

I can't wait to buy a car charger with Aux out but I hate to buy two and I know the nag screen will drive me crazy. The autopilot looks cool, the buttons on the lighter plug seem like they will be handy with the touchscreen. I saw the autopilot on amazon for about $30, not to bad if I have to replace it.

Anyone have any guesses when someone will come out with a fully compatible charger with line out?

I hope someone will post a notice when it becomes available.

I contacted Griffin not long back about their TuneFlex Aux (http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?p=1170853#post1170853), they got back to me and said there was an iPhone 3G compatible version in the works. I didn't get a timeframe.

Although not 100% iPhone 3G-compatible (i.e., you'll get the Airplane Mode message), the Griffin AutoPilot will work just fine with the iPhone 3G:

Griffin AutoPilot (http://www.amazon.com/Griffin-AutoPilot-Charger-Controller-iPod/dp/B000WKW6HS/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1221316090&sr=8-1)

I am using it w/ my phone--other than the Airplane Mode message, to which you can safely ignore (i.e., tap "No" so that the radios aren't turned off)--everything works...I can still make/receive calls, even through bluetooth; iPod functions work fine; GPS still works; very little--if even audible--engine noise and/or audio hiss; no GSM audio interference (so far, probably because I haven't yet driven through an area where 3G AND EDGE--but not GPRS--are non-existent)...and, it has the AUX out integrated into the dock connector, so no need to connect one end of the AUX cable to the iPhone's headphone jack (this type of connection design is what probably helps reduce engine/ground noise tremendously).
