I updated the Itunes to 8.0 last night along with several app updates. I did have my Iphone and Ipod plugged in at the same time. The phone cycled down & just showed the apple logo. No matter what I did, including holding both button down only would cycle the phone off and bring the apple logo back on. I took the phone into my ATT store where I purchased the phone and a helpful gal called Apple. They had her cycle the phone off and then while just holding the home button, plug the sync cord in. This allowed the phone to boot up at least to do a system restore. Just wanted to pass this info on. The ATT rep said they have had this happen to several people over the past few days.
