ITunes 8 - Edit multiple items?

Not sure if this is a bug or some sort of feature change, but if I highlight a bunch of tracks with shift + click (on the Win XP on PC) then right click and select get info (I get the normal are you sure you want to edit multiple items) then click OK, I get a blank box! Tested on two machines and appears to have the same issue. Can someone else test for me?

I disabled that particular prompt several versions ago.

The editing multiple items dialog is fine for me in iTunes 8.

Strange, it flashes up for a second then goes blank and it works fine with single tracks. Are you on XP or Vista?

I think I've found a solution for you - are you using Direct Folders from CodeSector? If so, that's what causing the conflict. The solution, which I found at Apple forums (thanks BonoChao!!!), is to do the following:

Right click on the "Direct Folder" task bar icon,
select "Configure..."
select "Applications" tab
click on "Add"
Browse for iTunes
deselect "Enable resize...."
click on "OK"
