maybe some of you knew this already, but if you are at the 20% low battery indicator and turn your phone to airplane mode, you can get a full charge in roughly 1.5 hours when using the ac wall charger. This is withan iPhone 3G

Yes, an AC charge is very quick as it supplies more charge current then what USB can suppy.

It turns off all the radios, and the screen is off too.
