View Full Version : Iphone dialer not working!

I am having an unusual problem. On my hacked iphone I can't seem to dial numbers on the phone's dialer. They only way I can make calls is by going through my contacts. Is anyone else having this problem of have I mistakenly done something wrong during the hack? I used winpwn 2.5 if anyone knows any fixes to this. Thanks

mine works just fine although I used quickpwn for the mac. Try restore and do it again

i have the same problem after i used quickpwn on windows , the version of the firmware is 2.0.2 , can u plz tell me how did you solve it ?

You guys can use PwnageTool 2.1 to pwn your iPhone 3G. It works fine.

Hacks don't always work perfectly first time so try a restore and doing it again.

If you installed an APP called "KATE", delete/uninstall it. That is the problem. If you have not downloaded that on to your iphone than you are out of luck, most likely these problems arise from the third party apps not working well together.

I was a victim of Kate.

Last week I read this thread.

For some reason this morning my phone stopped working.

Unistalled Kate and I was back in business.

Its true.. I just had the same problem.. Luckily I came here before i deleted all my apps and reset my iphone..

As soon as i deleted Kate.. all problems solved..

But if anyone was like me thinking they don't remember installing Kate, it came automatically with installer.. Just go to Installer, go to categories then to 'installed Packages' and Kate will be sitting in there just like a virus...

Remove it and taaadaa..

yes KATE sux. I for some reason downloaded KATE from installer and phone feature locked up. I was pretty worried thinking oh what now but did a lil research and found out others were having the same issue. Went into installer and from the main screen clicked on KATE and uninstalled it. Phone feature works fine now. What is up with installer these days they have NOTHING to offer and there apps mess up your phone. I wish I could uninstall that crap, anyway to do that?
