at&t and apple can not keep them in stock I don't see how adding BB in the picture will help. I guess it give the people more of where to buy from, but no differents in price or carrier. so big deal...

Best Buy sales folks will probably be smarter than the people at AT&T! :(

I just hope it means the Apple Store nearby my place will be less crowded now. :)

The sales tracks the iPhone has the better for the people buying and better for the people selling, as long as the people doing the selling are well trained. That would be my only concern, but it's a concern I have even with AT&T stores and even Apple stores.

As it is, it's a big production to buy an iPhone so I think the more places that sell it, the better, as it may distribute buyers out more. At this point, though, I haven't noticed any lines or stock issues at AT&T or Apple for awhile now, at least where I live.

I wonder is Bestbuy will be able to warranty the prodcut? I know apple does not allow at&t to warranty it

there haven't been stock issues for quite some time now. Best buy will only make things better. I just hope even more people get iPhones because of it.

Best Buy does offer a service plan for the iPhone, it runs $14.95 a month in addition to whatever else your plan consists of. Their activation fee is also less than what an AT&T store will charge you($26 vs. $36). This is why I'll be buying an iPhone from them next month. As far as availability, the one near me has quite a few in stock in both colors and capacities.

People who aren't tech savvy are more likely to get ripped off at Best Buy. They're offering to set up your phone and your email for "free" if you buy an accessory package. Which something Apple and AT&T will do for free. So, if you don't know what you're doing, you could wind up spending a lot of extra money.

I figure if BB sells them, I'll have yet another place where I can find accessories. ATT's accessories seem really limited and it's a bit of a drive to the nearest Apple store.
