Hi. Newbie here migrated from iPod Touch to iPhone (non 3G) with v 2.0.
I've been using the heck out of my iPhone more than my 'Touch but here's the problem:
I bike to work every day, turning the iPod function on to shuffle for my music collection (which at this point is just a Police box set---anyway...). I get to work, go about my daily duties using the phone as my PDA, notes, calendar, yada yada.
Go to leave work, go back to iPod and most times it starts off back in the 'songs' main page and I have to select "shuffle" again, which.......starts all over and may play songs I've already heard.
Am I doing something wrong? The iPod Touch never faltered in that respect. I'm trying to note if I hit 'pause/stop' on the iPod function before I unplug the earbuds, or if I just pull the earbuds, etc. Seeing if there is a pattern.
I think I will try to JUST do the 'double-click the home button' to superimpose the player and just hit 'play', see if that works.
thanks for any tips/help.
