Best car mount

Hello everyone! this is a great site, just found it a couple days ago and have had a great deal of fun reading through it so far. My question for all of you is: i have a 3g 40 gb ipod and want to mount it in my car. What is the best way to go about this? What have you all had the best success at using?

In my experience, the best solution is the dock. It allows you to use the line-out, is stable, and holds yer ipod upright for easy access. If yer using the headphone jack, radioshack has a gooseneck mount for $10 that works.

Thankyou very much guys. I checked out the gear forum pmoto. i found a mount on ebay that a bunch of people in the forum seemed to think was pretty cool, so i think i'm gonna go with that.

Hey sblood, do you use the dock in your car? where do you have it mounted so that it stays stable?

There is enough space at the bottom of my console, just next to the cig lighter, so I have it resting pretty low, its not up on the dash. What mount are you looking for on ebay?
