You should head over to the TV & Video forum (http://forums.ilounge.com/forumdisplay.php?f=91) and see what kind of conversion is needed to make YouTube videos sync to an iPod. The answer may be in the stickies there.

are you using a mac?
this is what i use: (free)
real player & isquint
when on youtube, real player lists what i've viewed, & i can select any from the list to download.
then i can just drag them .flv files onto the isquint window & convert.
job done!

I use "free youtube to ipod converter" (it's for windows). You can just google that, it also works for PSP. It is extremely easy, just put in the video URL, then it downloads and converts to MP4. You can set quality and screen format to fit your needs. Then you rename the file it creates if you want and import to itunes.

You can download a free program "youtube downloader", that will download the .flv file and then convert from .flv to .MOV format. It will also convert from other formats, like .AVI. So I've been able to put the videos of my grandchildren on my iPod. Great little program.

tooble.tv works great on windows and mac, just download the app and it searchs and then when you download from youtube it converts it and adds it to itunes, no song and dance involved, search and click, I dig it, I download a bunch of tv episodes and UFO clips
vixy dot net works when it feels like it
