transfer music from old to new I pod?

Hi, I just got a Touch and want to transfer fields from my old I pod.
These files are both purchased and installed from my own cd's. Can I use my I book t do this?

If your music collection is in iTunes on the computer, just connect the Touch and let 'er sync. If the music exists only on the old iPod, you'll have to copy it into the computer's iTunes and from there onto the Touch.
