Hi,

I've just downloaded and installed the Make Video Tags script, the installation went well but I'm having problems using the script.

When I select some video files and start the script, the script bounces in the dock for a few seconds and the pointer turns to the spinning wheel. After a period of time, I get an error pop up saying "AppleEvent timed out." This is an iTunes error.

A few seconds later I get the Make Video Tags window appear with another error message "AppleScript Error. iTunes got an error: AppleEvent timed out. (-1712)"

I can clear both the error messages and the Make Video Tags window is still there but I can't do anything with it.

The "Set Video Kind of Selected" script works perfectly but doesn't give me all the options I want.

Running OS X 10.5.4 on a Mac Pro with iTunes 7.7.1 (11)

I wonder if there's a fix for this, or whether it's a known problem?

Thanks.

Are you using the most-recent version, v1.2 (http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=makevideotags)? If so, you should p'bly send a report to Doug, since 1.2 should be Okee-Dokee with iTunes 7.7.1

(Excellent problem description, BTW)

I've checked and I am definately using v1.2, I even deleted it, restarted and downloaded/installed it again.

I'll drop Doug a mail.
