All the updates

WTF is with Apple and all the updates. First they had that damn update early this year where they charged original Touch owners $19.95, then they had another update last month, now friggin iTunes is telling me there is another update. I am starting to lose my sense of security with Apple, especially since itunes does such a half-### job with the applications I have to keep downloading because they are being disabled when I plug into another machine at work that has been used by the same Touch since last November.

Meh, the $20 update are just for the 5 apps. You didn't have to pay for that. Apple also had the free update for the bug fixes.

Last month was the big 2.0 update for the Appstore. I don't agree anyone should be paying to "enter" their store. Much like you didn't have to pay to enter to be able to download iTunes music/movies. So $10 for that update. But hey, you get the 5 apps this time if you didn't purchase it back in January. Great for those who didn't purchase it before. But a screwjob for those who did.

Last week's update was for the bug fixes in 2.0.

In the end, at least I know Apple still support the touch by regular updates. Even after it's been forgotten over their love child the iPhone.
