Stuck in restore

I had bought an unlocked Iphone and it was working just great.One day I had it hooked to itunes and hit restore my accident.Now it is stuck in restore mood cause I don't have an at@t sim card for it to register to itunes.Is there anyway around this problem?

have you tried the pwnage or winpwn tool to activate it for you? pwnage tool has a check box to activate your custom firmware, get into DFU mode, and restore with the custom ipsw.

Ok how do i go about doing that stuff.I am not clear on all those terms or programs you just named.Where can I get them from?

sorry I cant post url's (new user limit), but do a google on "bigboss winpwn" and there will be a lot of information on there. Get familiar with that tutorial, and research the tools. You'll be able to use that knowledge to fix your problem. also, if your on irc, #iphone on efnet is a good place for information for the tricky stuff as well (but know your terminology first, 'they' can get particular....)
