Using Pay Hot Spots

Greetings,

While traveling the other day I tried to access a couple of WiFi hot spots at the airport and at the hotel. I was unable to actually connect to the Internet although the Touch said I had a WiFi connection. Since these are pay for use sites I assumed that if I opened up Safari I could enter my data and use the connection. No such luck. Opening Safari only gave me the Cannot Connect to the Internet error message. I was never redirected to the ISP site to enter my payment information.

Anyone know how to get around this?

Try opening it in a new page. This happens to me when I leave my house wifi on my iPhone and then join my Strbucks connection during my morning joe. I find that If i open a new page in safari that it works fine.

I'll give it a try, although I thought I might have tried that last week.
