Help! need to clean speaker & Mic

Does any one have any input on cleaning my speaker and mic for my Iphone. I work in a metal shop and have always had issues with metal dust collecting around the speaker and mics of my phones. But I cant seem to get my iphone cleaned out! is there a way to get the black cover off to get to the speaker and mic?

You can get it off, but it will void your warranty. I don't know if this one is easier than the 1st gen, but I had a little bit of a hard time with the back cover when I took mine apart

I un-locked it for use on t-mobile so I think I already voided my waranty.

ok if it's a 1st gen then I've done it and only a little hard to do. You might only need to open the bottom black plastic piece which is easy. Search online and you'll find instructions
