Hi,
I have a question concerning playlists:
Is there a possiblity to create a playlist that appears on my iPod touch in the "Videos" folder only and not in the "Music" folder?

The Videos section of the touch doesn't use playlists.
But if your "video" playlist contains Music Videos, or normal music tracks, then the playlist will appear in the "Music" section.

thanks. I re-labelled my videos into "music videos".
the only thing that does not work: i want my music video playlists to have special names, e.g. "my first list", "my second list" etc.. these names should appear on my ipod touch in the videos section. does anyone know how that works?

As I said, the itouch doesn't show playlists in the Videos section. It just shows all your videos divided up into movies/tv shows and music videos

Are you able to make your videos play Continously?
I cant get them to do that, can you help me conquer this task, or anyone for that matter?
Thanks

Joe, try turning shuffle mode off first or re-tag yor vids to remove the "Skip when shuffling" option.

Videos played from the Videos section only play one at a time.
To make movies play continuously they need to play them from the Music section.
But there are only 2 ways to make Movie playlists appear in the Music section:
Either set your movies "Movie Kind" to "Music Video", OR create a playlist that contains movies AND music tracks.
If you do this correctly, then your playlist will appear in your Music and your iPod will play your movies one-after the other like a music track. PLUS you have the added bonus that you view the movies in portrait mode as well as landscape.

It works for video podcast too. You could create a smart play list based on type (movies, tv shows, etc...) and/or name. You just have to access the playlists from the Music section. There are a lot of things like this in the Touch UI that are half-baked.
