ipod touch, wallcharger or usb better?

Hi guys, i was just wondering is there an increase in battery life if i use a wallcharger for my ipod touch?
I read some where that the usb connection might not provide enough amps?
is this true?

USB provides 500mA. Wall charger provides 1A. In my experience wall charger provides a fuller charge and quicker. In theory your battery would last longer with a slower charge, but I doubt it would make much of a difference either way.

I always charge via wall charger if I can.
