3G Dropped Calls...a lot of them!

This is just...annoying! I am getting WAY TOO many dropped calls. I've reformatted, restored, resetted, everything. It happens a lot when I call my sister who is currently on T-Mobile, but it still happens when I call other people, even those on the AT&T network. I never had ONE dropped call with my first gen iPhone, and I haven't tested calling people with EDGE with the iPhone 3G. I live in Miami, where AT&T 3G is more than available and I always have full bars...so what gives?

Anyone else experiencing a lot of dropped calls?

I had my fair share with my 1st gen iPhone but so far haven't had any. Even when I only have the smallest bar of 3g service.
