iPod touch museum mode

Is it possible to switch the iPod touch into the so-called "museum mode"/aka "Notes Feature"?

Unfortunately the iPod touch uses a completely different operating system from that of the "normal" scroll-wheel based iPods. Museum mode is not available.

Perhaps someone will develop an application that mimics its functions, though....

So I have to use an iPod classic or nano for the museum mode.
