After countless frustration over V-Moda's shoddy quality, I decided it was time to move onto something else. I've narrowed my choices down to these...

Ultimate Ears' Super.fi 3
Shure's e2c
Ethymonics' ER6i
or even possible AKG's k272

I've read a lot about each one and right now, I'm on the verge of deciding... as soon as I could a good price :D

But before I make a purchase, I'd like to hear from you guys, which would you recommend among these?

If you liked the V-Moda's sound, stretch to the SuperFi 5 (the 3 is cheaper for a reason) and avoid the ER6i like the plague.

If you hated the V-Moda's bassiness, you might like the ER6i.

Denon's AH-C551K is in your price range. I'm enjoying the more expensive 751 a great deal at the moment - so much so that I bought a set of 551s to keep in the car, just in case I forgot my day-to-day phones (there's a spare iPod in the car boot). I'm very impressed by the depth of the bass, and prefer the 551 to the cheaper Shures.
