Edit the tracks info and select the "sort" tab. In there fill in the "Album (to sort)" field with a different name (for example for all the tracks of your first album fill it with ' Greatest Hits - Artist A' and for the tracks of the second one fill it with ´Greatest hits - artist B').

That should be it, although still displayed with the title of Greatest Hits the two albums should be now separated.

Ciao

If I recall correctly, changing the Sort Album field won't do it, you have to actually modify the Album field. You can also use a space at the end of one of the album names if you don't want it to 'look' different.

Just a thought, but...wouldn't filling in the "Album Artist" field (I think that's what it's called) in iTunes w/ the artist's name do the trick?
