Best in-ear headphones with no inline hiss?

Have had the UE Super-Fi 3s for a while and while they work great the in-line hiss when not playing anything is really something. The attenuator helps but its just another piece to plug in and I'm looking for something else. Plain and simple is OK, hopefully not too expensive.

Any of the offerings from UE, Skullcandy, Bose or other manufacturers I might look at?

Jeez how far did you have the volume up to hear an inline hiss? Maybe it's just the 3's because I've never used them. I can't think of any hiss in the 5 pro's. Don't get bose or skullcandy, they spend their money on looks and marketing instead of the actual sound. I would personally stick to ultimate ears if you can afford the super fi 5 pro's (around $170+). If you want something cheaper, check out etymotic research er-6i. (around 80$)

I notice the hiss when the headphones are plugged in without anything playing and its definitely there when I'm watching a movie but less noticeable. The attenuator does help.

I just got the UE Super Fi 3s and I noticed the hiss but it's due to the recording quality of what you're listening to. I have some CDs that were ripped at 128kb and they have a major hiss, but the stuff I ripped at 256 sounds clean.

What are you using to rip your movies? I used Handbrake and I just checked out a movie on my SF3s and there was no hiss at all.

What iPod do you use? As far as I know the only iPod from the current line with hiss is Shuffle.
