Hey, I wanna buy these earbuds but on the reviews they say it doesnt have the R and L on the buds, so this makes me think that it doesnt have surround sound.

Does the earbuds have surround sound?

Thanks

well surround sound has nothing to do with r and the l not being there you can just mark them. as for the earphones they do go deep in your ear. you can barely hear anything around you.

As stated, the ability to create surround sound is not related to marking drivers as left and right, but it is generally related to having at least 3, and usually 5 separate driver stations at the minimum. Anyone claiming surround sound in any headphone is, at best, using some sort of passive crossover chip to enhance the separation between left and right channels while blowing smoke up your behind. Tthere's certainly nothing else you can do in a single dynamic driver earbud based set of phones that's going to magicaly recreate having a dedicated soundcard/amplifier, true multichannel stereo and left and right speakers forward and behind of the listener along with a proper subwoofer.

Let me hit you with some knowledge. The only way you will ever get true surround is if everything in the system including the media is capable. It's not really true surround sound unless the sound engineer actually put separate instruments/tracks on discrete channels when mixing the song.
I mean sure there might be some headphones out there that make the music sound like its 'surrounding' you, but it's not having vocals in one speaker, snare drum in another, harmonica in another, etc.

Edit: wait, you're looking at skullcandy's? Why not buy actual headphones?
