yeah, i got my ipod earlier this month...the first time you open the package...it's like a religious experience. Everything is so well thought out and the ipod itself is a thing of beauty.

IlIlIlIlIl, you took the words right out of my mouth.....when i first opened it everything went silent and all i heard was this angelic music and a bright light surround my pod......or something like that....

And the lord said that it would have exceptional build quality, and so it was . On the second day he did say that it should have exceptional sound quality and all those that listen to it should agree that i has the best portable sound around. And so it was. On the third day he did say that it should be a piece of #### to set up. It was. On the fourth day, god did decide that it should be both windows and mac compatible such that all could enjoy its splendour, but god was a bit of snobby ####### and decided that he would castrate some of the windows features ... and so it came to pass. On the fifth day, god did look upon the ipod and discover that it was indeed a thing of beauty. He did download all of his music collection (which god had legally obtained) and he didn't encode with the the almighty LAME unto ephod there upon the pod. On the sixth day he did listen to all his cool music. On the seventh day he was still listening for it was a 30 gig version and he wasn't even half way through his music... he did decide that this perl of heaven should demand a high price and all those that would listen onto it would obsess with obtaining one.
...
...
AND SO IT CAME TO PASS
AMEN.

LOL i_wolf, this is one of the better posts I've read. We should consider giving it permanent placement in the "odes to iPods" section (if we had one). :)
