With my Ipod if I want to create a playlist all I have to do is press and hold the song and they will start to add into a playlist.
How do I do that under my Iphone? without doing it from Itune and sync.

Thanks

At the top of your "Playlists" on the iPhone (and iPod touch) you will see "On-The-Go" listed. Select this playlist and you will be able to add songs to it by browsing your library like you normally would and clicking the small "+" sign beside each song, artist, or album that you would like to add.

When you're done adding songs, click the "Done" button that appears in the top-right corner and you'll be returned to a list of tracks in the playlist. You can remove and re-order the tracks from this view by tapping the "Edit" button, or just start playing back the content as you would for any other playlist.

the method on regular iPod was perfected as it was by pressing and holding. It's just one of those things that could have easily been carried over to the iPhone, but wasn't for some reason.

Agreed. But, once you get into using the iPhone system for this, it's actually not that bad. Once the "on the go" function is active, you can browse your whole iPhone library and add songs, albums and so fort by single click. It's different, but just as useful once you get used to it.

ya I agree. Now a combo of the two would just pop the iPhone's/ iPod cherry and catapult itself into iPhone greatness with yet another functionality upgrade.
