iPhone won't ring?

For some reason, my phone (1st gen.) will not ring for incoming calls. Even with the ring set to on, it will only vibrate. The speaker does work for other things, timer, checking ringtone, etc. Volume is turned up all the way and ringer is on.

This has all started since I updated to v 2.0, and I have tried a restarting the phone several times.

Has anyone else encountered this?

try these things

flip the vibrate switch a couple of times
insert some headphones and pull them out a couple of times
check individual contact's ringtones
go into your settings and reset all settings (not the erase one if the 1st gen iphone 2.0 has that also)

I feel like an idiot. After using the vibrate/ring switch 1000's of times, I totally forgot to check to see that it was on.
